 2009.07.11.-07.12. Az Unicum Open The Unicum Open is a first in Hungary, and the premier edition of this tournament will be played in midsummer of 2009. The Unicum Open represents a huge step forward for the sport of disc golf in Hungary and Central Europe, as it will be the first fully sponsored professional tournament, featuring a large prize money purse for the top 16 places. The Platinum sponsor for this tournament is Zwack Rt. and their flagship product, Unicum. Unicum has a long history with disc golf, as it has been the short drink or shot of choice for disc golf players since the sports beginnings in 1995 on the Obuda Island. Following on from this tradition, the tournament will be held on the Classic and Alternative Courses of the Obuda Island.
